I think its almost a done deal for the usb-c, seems pretty standard now for new devices. I would be more surprised if it didn't get it.

Looking forward to seeing what this holds as my Note4 that I'd given to my parents, is still a blindingly good performer against my current 6P. With the 6P being passed to the wife in a few months I'll be in the market for a new device.

The only real thing I hated about the Note4 was the excessive sharpening on it's camera app and obviously Samsung's typical lack of updates. Build quality was superb imo.

Edit: Oh I hope the fingerprint sensor actually works because the Note4 one was utterly useless.

I didn't realise the S7 didn't have it. it wouldn't be a show stopper for me but would definitely like to see it.

Dust/water/weather seal has been confirmed yet or still a speculation? Not a deal breaker but would certainly be nice to have it.

Reason was make it compatible with the Gear VR, Note 7 wont be compatible with the Gear VR due to its size so they can now make use of USB-C.

This makes me very happy. Was going to go for the S7E and this now verifies my wait for the N7...get the joy of dual edge along with the functionality that I love of the Note.....win win.

Cant see that conversion from € to £ happening the S7 edge was £639 @ release and we are talking a Note here £649-£699 is my guess
