I've not had any problems with stability or crashing.

The "up to date" discs show as shipping on the 28th August on the UK Apple online store.

That would put them in consumers hands by Monday (because of the weekend), which is also the 1st of September.

I'm guessing the 1st-4th

No you will have to buy the full version called 'Mac Box Set' which also includes iLife and iWork '09 for about £129 i think

Check the disks you got with it to see if it's been bundled with Snow leopard disks!

Im confused, went to the up to date page on uk site and entered my serial and place of purchase, i brought this online so didnt really know what to put for city so i just put apple store london.

So it then takes me through saying its valid then it takes me to a shopping basket with no items? now where is snow leopard?

Oh good, at least someone is having the same problem as me. I bought a MBP over the phone with Apple and I can't seem to order the UTD.

If you go through the online form it takes you to an empty basket.

If you download the offline form and post it in, they refuse it because you haven't got a 'scanned receipt' from an Apple store or reseller, even though you've sent in copies of everything you've got from Apple direct.

If you try and order it over the phone you get put through to some monkey who keeps telling you that SL isn't released until September so you can't order it yet.

Aaaaaaaaaaargh!
