I've not been able to order it because when I put my serial number in it says it's "not found".

Phoned Apple a few times, I was escalated to their senior support people who tried to tell me I wasn't entitled to the upgrade (I have ordered my refurbed 13" MBP from their site on the 11th), I told them I clearly was, after a few minutes they agreed and have told me when it's on general release give them a call and they will send me the disk.

The online form's been a bit dodgy from the outset. I got my order through, but I remember there being some kind of problem.

For the £19 upgrade, will it be machine linked? For instance, my macbook originally came with tiger, now I could use my sisters copy of leopard to remote install onto my drive, will I be able to upgrade to Snow on my machine or will it work just for hers?

Apple store updating!

The apple store is ''down'' for updating!

do we think there updating the snow leopard delivery dates or something more interesting?

My guess is Snow Leopard. Since everything seems to be pointing to the 28th they'd have to put up the ability to preorder it today basically.

It is slightly annoying that they bring the store down purely for hype. I can't think of any other online store that brings down its whole site just to add new products.

Back up. Snow Leaopard showing as costing £25. Not sure if that is the Leopard upgrade or what.

Snow Leopard is an upgrade for Leopard users and requires a Mac with an Intel processor.

If you don't have Leopard I think you need to buy the Mac Box Set which includes Snow Leopard, iLife 09 and iWork 09.

It should change very soon. On Friday night mine also said September. I then checked it the following day after reading some posts on MacRumours about it and it had changed. Not that it really means much yet.

Yeah, that's the impression I got after a second look. A bit more expensive than the £19 I'd heard thrown about, but still pretty good.
