Yep, I've had this, only once though.instead of getting a black background with the login prompt, I got the login prompt but the desktop was clearly visible in the background
Logitech control centre isn't 64bit supportedI can't use any of the extra buttons on the mouse, even the free wheel on the Revolution doesn't work !

There's a fix for the MX Revolution in Snow Leopard. It's just a case of downloading the latest Logitech Control Center download, opening the zip file and right clicking 'Show Package Contents' on the Installer file:
Then following the path of: Contents > Resources > Logitech Control Center.mpkg
This just bypasses the 'OS Checker' that Logitech are using and should mean you can map the buttons on your mouse again. I've tried it and have had no problems.
Cheers, just checked and in the Kind Column it says Intel (64-bit) so I guess it is. Love the fact you can type "Activity Monitor" into the magnifying glass and it finds it.
Its here! YAY
/Installs on MP first.
That's a bit of an arse. Running a NEC 20WGX2 with my MBP using the VGA line through a DVI-VGA adaptor, not tried the DVI input as that's attached to the old PC.
edit: just tried the DVI input with the MBP, it works.

Congrats! Still waiting on mineDid you do a fresh install?
I can't believe it.
Snow Leopard has the bug then knew about in Leopard with some DVI monitors SINCE APRIL.
Getting so close now to buying a new monitor, if that 27" Dell didn't have that input lag I'd grab it up.
Edit: Pretty dam quick. However... my hard disks arn't showing on the desktop. wtf...
