The Social Gathering / Gaming Thread [A place to organize meet-ups]

We survived last night despite the terrible start in the second map. Don't know how to be honest. We were only a few turns in and I had no cards left apart from two, the repeatable ones. Two of us had to be picked up. And I think all of us used our health potions early on. At one stage 3 of us were down and Shi had to pick us up. Sorry to Mr.Cookie, we just couldn't get to you in time when you went down that last time. At least we were near the end by then.

You are confusing two different maps. The two bosses showing up at once was the last level in the previous map. Then we started a new game. It was in that game that Mr.Cookie was killed off. It was near the end.
 
That was a nice little course! Nothing too special, no unique little tricks (I guess the travellator is a bit, but I think we've had something like that before?) but just a well made course, and gorgeous! Not one for people who dislike depths though!

However, a few of those holes were fairly nasty in terms of being able to just keep screwing up/stroking out. Not as nasty as quite a few hard courses, but nastier than the usual easy one, if you see what I mean. Hard version is going to be interesting!
