Breacher play style summary:-

ShiWarrior: will look afk but he isn't, it's him taking ages to line up the perfect shot. The AFK look is a trap!!
Raggs: will be a rusher and look to shoot you in the face with a shotgun. Stay away!! Weakness - dodgy knees.
Ravanger: just stay back out of range in a dark corner. Between his eyesight and local dimming on his pro, he won't see you at all!!
JoeBoi: Will buy the biggest gun possible and shoot it with as much power as possible. Standing in direct line of sight is your best chance of survival. Beware ricochets!!
Simon: AKA the BOT. Will it's AI neural net interface be overloaded having to move, talk and shoot at the same time??
Mr.Cookie: Simple, just take the Aimbot off Chilli before playing.

I've not actually played with the shotgun yet :D. Headshots seem to be fatal, so accuracy is important apparently. Rigga will be picking us off across the map and through walls :D
 
How are we organising this? How do we meet? Is there a lobby?

I put my clan name down as ocuk if that makes any difference.

looks good !

tried to create a server, but name is "locked" for some reason

when you start, it says enter clan name, so naturally i used "ocuk"

my name on Breachers is "$hi" if you guys want to add me as friends :)
 
THe custom server seems to just be named after you. I say we do that, and make the password ocuk (not caps).

Not sure how you search servers though!

Cheers for the invite, but only just got back to the hotel (at a conference today and tomorrow).. I load up walkabout and there's no one in the OCUK golf room... i've obviously been ditched.. :)

Enjoy breachers tonight, I've not got it yet, but if it becomes a regular game, then i'll get it.

Quite enjoyed that. Beating up the bots in the assault/defence wasn't much fun, but it was a lot more interesting with humans on both sides. Same with the deathmatch. Reckon if we can get another one (on top of rigga and mel) it'd be quite good. Or if we have a team of 5, I'd be up for trying to play other teams in an open lobby?

Breachers is actually good, lots of potential

I'm sure it's like in beta at the moment sort of thing. With a few updates it will be amazing I think

More maps more options to customise, skip waiting times with a button etc

It plays very well for me, running on Pico 4, steam through virtual desktop

That game kills my battery very quickly!!

I need to up my game :cry:

Don't really play shooters but it is very good, practice is the order of the day I feel ;)

Edit to say I finished on 21% from fully charged, although pc was doing the heavy lifting processor wise.

My battery was about to run out on that last round, I hid on the stairs whilst I plugged my link cable into the charger. Went up the stairs and you were round the corner Mr.Cookie!

a lot of it is down to spray and pray tactics :D.

I think next week I'll play closer to the router, lag was horrendous at times. I kept freezing, reminded me of the 56k days!

Shooters are a massively different beast in VR, I quite liked the gun mechanics on Breachers. Possibly set a new bar? I'd like 5 of us to play 5 randoms or if we could get 8/10 together mix it up as teams.

Do wish it had more of a auto-balance or randomise teams.

Think After the Fall has nailed gun mechanics myself. The reload in breachers is pretty good, and more forgiving than ATF.
 
What's the plan Monday? Who's making it? I'm fine with golf or breachers? Been playing a bit of breachers, a team that communicates nearly always does a lot better, but sometimes there's just some bloody quick reacting good shots and that simply means you get beaten.
