Which apps are gone? I was asking if in general the apps were any good.

EDIT - I Googles and see the Panorama function has gone, as well as the Play memories apps have disappeared. Is this bad, and why would they do that?

All of them. You cant use play apps anymore.

Me i personally never used any of them!

They were badly implemented.

There are rumours that sony are working on a new architecture for it and it not ready yet

I would hope that was the case, but they could surely communicate it a little more clearly.

Anyone had experience with Sony support? I hear it is pretty damn awful...

Does the A7R3, still have "Wireless Remote" or whatever it's called?
The app that allows you to take photos via a Smartphone/Tablet using the PlayMemories App.

This looks awesome. Watched the AF focus of how it nailed the eyes of the dancers too.

It looks like a REALLY good camera and can only hope some of the features will trickle down to the a6500 successor.

I really want to get this camera.

Love my A7rii and this addresses the few niggles I have - the main being responsiveness.

But that price...

I could trade in the A7rii and keep the a6300, but was hoping to have move to full frame a+b camera.

Still tempted to maybe just get 2nd A7rii at half the cost, and another lens.

Am a bit worried about the flash mount on a9 and wandering if it's going to be an issue with this camera as well.

I don't NEED it now - just want it
