Just been messing about and I got Munt to work! Only 20+ years later I can experience mythical Midi goodness.
Munt emulates a Roland MT-32 which was the holy-grail gaming sound of the nineties. It was an in game sound option included but usually ignored as no-one ever owned Roland gear (apart from musicians)! Usually Ad Lib or Soundblaster would suffice.
Who were these mythical people that this sound option catered for?
I just fired up Ultima 7 on GOG, by gum there is a helluva difference after comparing to standard SB sound.
