Lincoln is crap every night 
My idea of a night out usually consists of either far too many bottles of wine in one of the 3 wetherspoons, or far too many shots in revolution, and then ideally off to the brayford area for far too much jd and coke.
We normally end up in pulse and ritzy though- yuck!

Is dancing definitely on the menu? If Maidstone is crap on a saturday night, I'd rather go to a pub/bar and have a laugh chatting to everyone, then ending up in a crap club for the sake of "clubbing it".
If I drive down to maidstone, I wont be (well, I'll try not to- never say never and all that jazz) drinking on the saturday night.
So hopefully very little incentive for me to strut my stuff on the saturday if dancing is on the menu- my feet still hurt from this saturday night

That was my opinion too, thats why we said we would do the one decent club on the Friday and then the food on the Saturday, I'll investigate all the bars in the area with a late licence but they will mostly be loud.
If it gets really desperate we'll go back to my place and play the music we want on my hifi and talk all night

Anywhere we go doesn't have to have an ultra-late license, for me anyway. I imagine we'll be setting off from Liverpool at around 8am, which means getting up before then, so I may be flagging in the wee hours of the morning. Not that I care that much, as I'm off on the Monday, but I need to be pretty awake on Sunday for the 350 mile drive home.
If you book now you should still be able to get a pretty good deal on the train.
At this end there is a very easy transfer from London to Maidstone, we do it when we go to Manchester because I hate the drive. All in all even with transfering across London it will still be faster then driving.

Aye, I did consider that, but I've always preferred driving. I have the company of only one person, who I like, without having to listen to dozens of other people, and we can stop off if we like for a break and some food (though on the way back I may be full from the breakfast). It's quicker by car as well.

The fact that I'm coming to the meet seems to be inspiring one or 2 other people to want to come along.
Kaed, if you want to come along, the more the merrier. You need to sort out somewhere to stay though.
I might even give you a lift if I decide to drive- No way am I letting you drive- you are just an accident waiting to happen!
Oh, and if you do come, there will be no use of naff nicknames from yesteryear. And I have no intentions of looking after you and making sure you get home in one piece so you will have to think before you speak- get some practice in.
