Right - now doubled video shooting capacity to 36 minutes (or 800 stills) for the bowling. No-one will escape the berserk cam. :D

PS - I don't make any footage of people (either still or video) available without their permission. I don't like my own picture being flashed around the internet, so why should I inflict that on anyone else. :)
 
The Internet is used to my ugly mug, and I sometimes appear in some very amusing shots - who am I to deprive you people of a giggle.

Not really enough room if we are going to have the PS2 setup and 15-20 people in the front room

Maybe you should keep it for just you and Desmo in the safety of your own room?

how about if i bring my monopoly/scrabble/cards? that way we can have more people playing and we can rotate if we want to ie some people can go play PS and some other games! can we not ask/beg the hotel (rabbit inn) to give us some space? that way we will be buying alcohol off them and seeing as there are like 25 people = profit? and matblack's house is still intact? :p

Assumes I can remember who is who anyway (I'm all but useless with faces), and assumes that I go through the pictures afterwards (I have a tendency to dump 'em on my server, and forget).

Best policy to me seems to be to place the images somewhere password-protected and email the attendees. I've got stacks of webspace, so that won't be a problem. :)
 
No, you're going to a "drink as much as you can" contest (for some people anyway). We're also there to meet people and socialise. Splitting off around board/card games would seem to me to be counter-productive to that excercise. :)

Having said that, there are a few card games suitable for playing at parties where most of the people attending have "had a few". :D

I have full access to an entire server (two in fact). Webspace, password-protected or otherwise, is most definitely not a problem. :D

Attendees are always very respectful of privicy issues

I had a hell of a time getting some pics from Swansea which had images of people who do not want net exposure.

I have already made some pics of me 'pob'lic domain so I'm not bothered :D

Bring whatever you want for the Saturday night. My two stipulations are that you don't make too much noise and you don't do anything to damage the pine floor boards, so danceing and pogo sticks are out of the equation. As is smoking in the house and tourturing the cats.

torture the cats? why them when you can have 19 other drunk people who you can torture? :p

ok i wont bring monopoly BUT will bring cards, oh and as for BERSERKER saying it would split the 25 people into smaller group then that is better because:
a) if you have one big group of 25 people, NOT everyone is gonna talk to everyother person?
b)if you are shy, (like me :p) then it would be better as you would talk with smaller group and not get shy etc
c) socialising can be done while u play :p

If you feel that strongly about it, then you best ensure that everyone knows exactly who you are and that they are aware of your choice. As MB says, we're usually very good at complying with such requests, but you can never guarantee things 100% - particularly when it comes to video.

I get where you're coming from on that point. I'm not the most forthright either, but you'll be fine once things get going. There are going to be new people to get to know for everyone. :)
 
^ sorry didnt mean to sound so defensive, but these were the reasons i came up with, to support the smaller group thing, but i am not too "worried/passionate whatever" about it, if ppl dont wanna then dont, i just wanna have some fun (hopefully)
 
If it makes you feel better, I was extremely nervous and worried I'd be too shy about the Swansea meet in December, felt a lot more relaxed once I got there :)
Sure you'll be fine and not feel intimidated by a large group :D

In all seriousness , and I know some of you will chortle , I am quite a shy person when it comes to meeting people I don't know , especially if it's a large group of people but you'd be surprised at how quickly you can click into the online banter we all have on these forums

Just relax and enjoy yourself :)
