The Stanley Parable

I hope so. There are a number of places where I think there could be more story threads...

The bosses lift, what if you could make it go somewhere?
When the room with two doors has lots of doors, a path which does go somewhere if you take the correct route?
Managing to stop the countdown
The glitched escape pod ending
Actually being able to complete the confusion ending as per schedule.
If you hear it's raining outside and jump out of the window will the ending change.
Listening to the recorded message could somehow cause a chain of bad things

I'm sure there are many more possibilities

Apparently you can stop the countdown, but i'm not sure if anybody has done it yet.

How does this game get rave reviews?

It appears to be entirely made up of about 4 rooms, and every one of those rooms forces you to listen to a guy droning on for 10-15 minutes, before restarting the game from the beginning?

I got bored after the second room.

Seriously, what are people smoking to give this "game" such brilliant reviews?

1. Move down corridor to room 1. Get locked in, have to listen to 10 mins of the narrator being passive aggressive to the player.
2. Game restarts.
3. Try a different room. Same outcome as 1.
4. Game restarts.
5. Say "fudge this" and move on to something else.

Heard about this but never even got round to finding out what this game even was. The other day picked up Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist from Steam which I found brilliant and very refreshing so downloading this now. Seems the guy who made it also has something interesting cooking at as well for his next project.

A very "Stanley" announcement.

If you are going to announce a delay, that's the way to to it.

Also, if you played it years ago one of the achievements is not to play the game for 5 years (after playing it) and then play it, so should be about the right time for many.
