Yeah it was time related, if he had been tackled on the 1 yrd line then it would have been 3rd and 1 and the clock would have run down some more.
 
Ahh good, cause then it made it more fun watching how he feel into the touch like that..and made the ending even more exciting.

Yep because the Giants didnt want any time left for the Pats to come back and score...unfortunately he fell backwards when he was trying not to as all the Giants needed was 3 pts to completely kill the game off. But luckily for us, we got away with the win...that hail mary at the end had my heart in my mouth.

Been supporting the Giants since they won their very first Superbowl back in the 1987, geez that takes me waaayyyyyy back.
 
Well I didn't think the Giants would beat the Pats again. Looks like the younger Manning will have the one-upmanship on his brother & will probably get into Canton a bit quicker than him too due to his extra SB win.
 
Nah, I think Peyton will still go in first. He's also still a better QB, but Eli has played amazing this season. That pass along the sideline at the end was simply amazing.

As for soccer (or maybe by some people's rules it should be called 'diveonthefloorandrollaroundwhennoonehastouchedyou game'), didn't I see a stat the ball is only in play for 60 of the 90 minutes? It really doesn't flow any better as far as I'm concerned. :p

Too right, I learnt about this sport when I got the first John Madden game on the Megadrive donkey's years ago. It was an awesome game.
 
I lolled so much at the replays of the (now) game-winning touchdown :D One for the record books that haha
