No release date as of yet but it's coming this year. Here's a brand new gameplay trailer - looks amazeballs. They've definitely nicked bits from Portal/Portal 2 though. :p

I liked the first one, which had a few proper head scratchers in it, but I'm not so sure I need to be pondering mortality and the essence of my own existence all the time while I play games so kinda hoping they dial that back a bit

The first one was amazing in VR. Worked really well and looked great too. Added a whole new dimension to the Puzzles.

Hope they have VR in mind when they make this one.

I will get this as really enjoyed the first one, even if once the puzzles started including the recording feature my head exploded. It was worth the money for the game to that point!

Comes out on 2nd November for just twenty notes on Steam! It's actually cheaper if you own the first game (£20 v £22) because of the bundle offer.
And it's got Tim Watson back as Elohim who absolutely made the first game for me. :D

Not very often I pre-order games but I've just snatched it up on Steam.

I've reinstalled the first one. I stopped playing when the rewind/replay puzzles started getting stupid. This time I'll just look up solutions to them.

I didn't play the original game in desktop mode but in VR. And it's the first puzzle game that I have ever completed without looking up the solutions to some of the puzzles. But I did read somewhere, on a review or in reddit, that the puzzles make a lot more sense in VR because of the viewpoint.

I fared a lot better this time through. I'm at the last part of main story for the main game and I had to look 1 puzzle up and it was something stupid I should have tried.

EDIT: I've finished the main story now. I can't be arsed to get the stars. On to the DLC!

Played the demo of TP2 and it's alright, looks very nice and runs well but it does have traversal stuttering (surprise surprise) - For such a baked game in a small sandbox this seems bizarre. Also a few jarring bits for me were hearing water ripple as you walk over it yet no visual effect when looking down at it, Blocking the sun over rocks does not shadowcast the global illumination against them either as that's all baked too.

Nevertheless, 5160x2160 and 100fps using DLSS Quality, does look quite crisp.

And a word of warning, you can literally break your progress if you move a block and fall into the gap later here (and likely other places), so move blocks with care :p
