**THE THINNEST & MOST POWERFUL SLIM LINE GAMING LAPTOP: MSI GS70 STEALTH!!**

Can you change the backlighting to be just plain white? It looks silly with all those funny colours IMO.

HI there

Here is a little image from MSI marketing, gives you an idea of how thin the unit is:-

That is a fantastic looking laptop! I am a bit confused as it says it is the thinnest gaming laptop at 2.2cm while, if my maths is right, the Blade is 1.6cm (0.66in)?

Not seen the Gigabyte in the flesh but it also looks very nice. Think the MSI has the better keyboard and has a more bling in your face look about it like the Razer Blade does. The Gigabyte looks more discreet. Major difference is of course the Gigabyte is 15.6" and MSI 17.3 :)

Ahhh what a twonk, I forgot the MSI was 17"!

the design just screams Blade copy in my eyes. But that is one nice laptop.

the spec on this easily outshines the razer, and for almost £500 less, if I was looking for a lightweight gaming hybrid (and didn't already have the lenovo Y580, which I love to bits!) this would quite possibly have my attention

for perspective, my Y580 is almost identical spec to the razer (3630QM, 660M, 8GB), yet cost me £850 from the purple shirts last year. granted it's a bit thicker but still plenty portable enough for my needs

I dont think the price is that bad compared to what i spent on my rig and what you can spend on gaming laptops, the only downside for me buying this is obviously storage, but with NAS becoming better and cheaper and easier for noobs this is more of a niggle.
I was curious to see how these performed graphics wise and came across this....

These are not my findings i just pinched the picture from another forum, but i thought might come in handy for anyone who might need convincing.

Love the look of this one. The keyboard is definitely a selling point. I'm a bit worried about cooling and noise though.
