Contradicts what?
The consoles are made at TSMC, they have BGA substrates, they are already shipped 10's of thousands of units, if there is a supply issue why is it unique to AMD and why only discrete GPU's and not consoles?
Its a bit convenient.

Chinese Tony probably ****** off they backed the wrong horse..
No secret Gigabyte, Asus and MSI serve both AMD and Nvidia but make more cash from Nvidia, wouldn't surprise me if AMD favoured their tier1 partners for stock, Sapphire, Powercolor, XFX etc as thats where the majority of their sales come from.
Would love to see a breakdown by partner for AMD, i bet Sapphire are the biggest seller and Powercolor not far off.

Also states it may not just be BGA supply issue causing potential low supply at launch.

there isn't just one supplier for the entire tech market.
There is no source as to who the supplier is, what the issue is and why they are having a problem.Contradicts what?
We’re just have to wait and find out but one things for sure I’m not taking Chinese Tony’s word for it.Because supply chains are complex and if you have a particular supplier lined up say for a BGA substrate for your GPUs and an issue occurs with that particular supplier, say reducing supply and you're not first on their priority and other suppliers don't have capacity to meet your need.... I can't imagine consoles prioritised over all other customers.
You're left with an issue on your product, not the entire industry...
They are the same suplyer ^^^^
What? that's just gobbledygook
Wrong screenshot.
Again you're assuming supply issue means complete capacity hit, so therfore all products in line with that supply affected. Beyond a complete disaster or shut down. Unlikely.
Grass.
it creates day 1 FOMO and pushes sales. There is your PRO AMD DiscordAnyway just passing on some info to you chaps, hilarious how defensive some of you are being though. Especially when its a source from a very pro AMD Discord of a known leaker who is also pro AMD, would be bizarre for them to post something negative about AMD. Especially when they've leaked info earlier before which has been solid.
Let's see what happens.

Again, they are the same supplier. AMD make about 6 different types of products and most of the require BGA substrates.
The fact that you see people as belonging to factions says a lot, why is he "Pro AMD" ? What qualifies someone as pro AMD?
No idea, I'm only familiar with Swiss Tony. You work at AMD right Matt, can you tell us anything about stock levels? I know you'll say no but may as well ask.
Maybe I'll ask Chinese Tony instead, I can message him on Linked In now.
