Its the distance, we just bought a block of flats in Penge and those two houses in Beckenham thats us for the minute.

Don't laugh....

Torry, it's in the right location for the purpose, was up a few weeks and i stay in a flat on Riverside Drive which overlooks the River Dee / up towards Torry, houses are super super cheap and would make for a great buy for managed lettings.

Aberdeen prices are mental, its just the distance if there is a problem.
 
Oil & Gas people are crying out for managed lettings, whenever i went up in the past i'd always hotel it but we've switched to longer term so now have a few lettings, £90 a night for a nice flat, with the house prices so low and only set to go one way it could be a good little earner, i go for it but i aint got enough money lying around to make it worth a shot.

Was looking in the local papers and i thnk you could get a 3 / 4 bedroom house for 54k.

Yes I had looked at property in Torry before, but to be honest at the time I couldn't look past the area's issues. Certainly seems to be a high contingent of east europeans living there now, I guess they would be an ideal target audience.

We got 60 odd flats started with none it can be done, you just got to ride the ups and downs.

Lots of companys just lease a place out for a year because overall it saves them a fortune overall.

Will see how things pan out in the next few years, i have a very good job and don't want to throw that away but i'd prefer to be my own boss :)
 
was about to say the same thing, he's still online, so blatantly ignoring the thread. Im guessing he will come back pretending he didnt see it, avoiding the questions asked.
 
I can see the thread, I've just been ignoring it.

If I wanted to avoid the questions I could have said yes when a mod emailed me asking if I'd like it closed, but watching you lot under the impression that you've got one over on me is far more entertaining.
