Don't try and clean gloss brushes, simply place the bristles in water up to the stock.

You can also fill undercoat with water to stop a skin forming, and store gloss paint upside down for the same reason.
 
If in doubt, do it anyway.
Better to ask forgiveness than permission.
And a genuinely helpful tip: if you get a nose bleed, soak your head in cold water, it will stop the bleeding. Holding your head back is useless.
 
While doing a levels put in 100% effort, have a thorough understanding of what will be on the exam.

Id change that to while studying, do enough, and only just enough. Its important to know where your limits and abilities are, and if you work flat out at everything you'll never know

Though perhaps your approach is more successful than mine :)
 
Save money on expensive binoculars by simply standing closer to the object you wish to view.

If you are dyslexic, try deliberately spelling words incorrectly. This way at least you have a chance of spelling them correctly.
 
If you are a lighthouse keeper, amuse passing ships captains with sexual connertations by changing the fog horn to say ' OOO, YEAH BABY ' while chucking buckets of wallpaper paste into the air.
