The trend to pronounce S as Z

The most annoying pronounciation error EVER for me is when people say "Pacific" instead of "specific". Half the people at my old workplace used to say it, including my boss. I wanted to beat them round the chops with a whale. Drove me absolutely barmy!

My Father is a bit backwards (he's from Braunstone, Leicester so it's understandable). He says "wardrove" instead of wardrobe, and calls Halfords "Harfords". No excuse for that really is there.

Do we prefer HEATHrow or heathROW?
HeathROW of course darling. Preferably in a nasal Moira Stuart type accent :p

The one which annoys me the most is people spelling/pronouncing laser as lazer. Its an acronym ffs, the ‘s’ stands for stimulated, you can’t go changing it
