THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE

Didn't think it was that bad to be honest. Much better than the 2nd one.
Cinema was full as always here in Prague for the opening night last week.

They might not be the greatest of films ever but they are no where near as bad as half of you make them out.

My GF dragged me to see the first and second films and I was extremely dubious and didn't want to be there but they weren't too bad. They were never going to be something to write home about but it was a better than most the generic rubbish that normally gets churned out. In my opinion anyway.

Have you even seen it?

How can you comment that it's crap if you haven't seen it?

Just because you like the series that doesn't mean others can't discuss their dislike for it, I am referring to your initial post here stating:

if you don't have interest then keep your comments to yourself.

There's no rule for the forum that says if you don't like a film you can't discuss your dislike for it AFAIK?

Anyway....Having seen the 1st and 2nd films I've decided they're far too slow paced and boring to engage my interest. I like movies that have a complex story or move at a steady pace as the story develops. I like offshoot comedy as much as scifi and monster movies and TV shows as well as drama and romcoms (!) but The twilight movies never managed to pull me in and I feel it's the lack of character in the actors playing the story characters, they're just so lifeless (no pun intended).

If the new one does turn out to be better when I watch it then awesome but it won't make up for the mediocre show the first 2 put out.

When did I state I like it?
And there is a rule regarding trolling and thread trashing, that's what I was previously referring to.

Edward Cullen is not a vampire.he lives in the woods, he doesn't kill humans, & he glitters when he's in the sun...the dude is obviously a fairy

well why wont you enjoy being in a room full of wet undies?

more to the point why are they wet?

Took the wife to see this today.

Not a fan of the series at all, but have to suffer them really.... I have to say that although it's still no 30 Days of Night, it's miles better than the first 2 films! Empire review was pretty much on the ball.

Ended up buying 30 Days of Night on Blu after we left as well, so I'll make her watch that and show her how proper vampires are done.

I've never seen a proper queue outside the local cinema but there was a rather long line of goth types waiting to get in. It started at 7.30 and this was 5.30.

You have to admit, its making a dime or two.

GF went and seen it the other day and she said it was rubbish film just like the books are, and she's a proper girly girl and an English geek so she can't be wrong. :D
