The Ultimate Showdown - Marmite vs Vegimite

I think we should smear all the haters in marmite and make themselves lick it off :)

There is no showdown. Take your dirty filthy Australian spread back to Australia and leave it there for the convicts to eat, so that we can enjoy our Marmite in peace :)
 
Atm i'm working my way through a new jar of Marmite XO, the new gimmicky extra mature / strong stuff, so far its nice but not worth the extra £££ over standard imo.

Marmite all the way..............!!!!!!!!

Ps. anyone else think it might not be so bad if when the apocalypse comes we all have a daily ration of yeast paste as the only food available lol

I must admit ive never tried marmite or any variant, i do remember the smell was enough to put me off when i was younger but id be willing to try it now.
 
Never had vegimite to be honest, this thread compells me to pick up a jar though.

Marmite and butter on a hot bit of crumpet ;)

Vegemite is okay but I find it a lot milder than Marmite - speaking of which I'm sure Marmite isn't as potent as it used to be.
