Will likely be quiet for the same amount of time it's 'alive' then another big bang.
Whilst this stuff is facinating, some people take this stuff way too seriously. It's mostly extreeeeeemely far fetched theories. Sure some of these theories will be correct, but most will be found to be a load of nonsense.
This will only happen if the Universe is contracting. The current thinking is that it is expanding from the last big band event
Just how important is life if it can be snubbed out seemingly forever, even a trillion years from now?
It's accelerating faster than thought, apparently. It's effect will be felt on the microscopic level, not just macroscopic.
I dunno, maths, physical models... One way or another, the party is gonna end.
And that is the basis of science - form theories and test them - many will be wrong and some may be correct. I studied a year of Cosmology and it definitely makes you feel fairly insignificant in the scheme of things
are galaxys expanding? or not due to mavity? hopefully the latter then we'll still maybe get to play in the millenium falcon at some point![]()
so we're all stuck inside an ever expanding explosion, we've been stuck in it so long life has evolved to talk about it, amazing![]()
If we're around in a million years, we'll've worked out how to get away.
Was this really a great discovery, I mean really?!?!reality TV
The universe will completely die in a trillion years, give or take.
Or, does anyone think another big bang would probably be triggered again?
