Well I say Upgrade but I could easily mean Downgrade or Sidegrade depending on what you do.

It used to be Graphics Cards for me but now it seems to be mobile phones, I just tend to get bored with a handset even although it does everything I need it to do and just feel like trying something fresh.

I currently own a Galaxy S7 which is perfect, but that's the problem, it gets on the boring side for some reason. I've had it in a case most of the time, have now taken it out of it, feels great but it's slippery bugger. But then I think, maybe I want to try something new...

Enter the HTC10 which has all of a sudden made me think of changing, for no particular reason other than it's HTC and I've always been a big fan of them.

Then there's going smaller and taking on the Z5 Compact or even going for a robust unsmashable screen in the Moto X Force. I've been hovering over the order button on each at times recently but haven't quite pulled the trigger.

Does anyone else 'suffer' from this and simply want to make unjustifiable changes to their mobile device?

i'm always looking at the newest/top sellers on amazons mobile phone section :o and forever wanting to buy new tech to potentially have as a "backup" phone (crap excuse to buy more tech :D )

Yes, but I will stick with one a while when I find the Goldilocks phone. Until then the change rate is rapid!

I find the most satisfying thing is installing a custom ROM to boost a slightly older phone into the top end realm. Although this time I bought a Nexus 5x and enjoying getting the Android N updates.

Perfect off the shelf is no good if you like to tweak and customise.

Yes, at the moment got both an N6P and an S7Edge. Can't decide which to keep, and keep looking at the HTC10 and the OnePlus 3 also. Decisions decisions!!

If you fancy something different and with an interesting challenge, I have an imaculate-condition Orange SPV-M5000 that will be up for sale soon... :D

It's actually still good fun to use and works fine on networks, internets and what-have-you!

Waiting for Axon7 or Nexus2016 to show up.

Same here. It did seem you could preorder an axon 7 at Amazon but have gone to out of stock or no eta. In some ways good as has prevented meet getting credit card out. In truth I don't know what I want in the phone line. Moto X style has a few annoyances but minor in the scheme of things. I'm blaming Brexit in that in the short term it may not be prudent to blow cash on a new mobile - rough translation is .... see what comes out later this year :D

Think I've decided on a smaller handset for the time being in the Z5 Compact as I did love the Z3 Compact when I had it previously.

Only if I can get a decent amount for my S7 though (hard ask I know).

Best bet is to just stick with what you've got, the S7 is better than the Z5 Compact once the novelty wears off you be wishing you kept your S7.

All your doing really is wasting money done it myself buying new phones every 2 mins once i got bored with it, the money I've spent on new phones over the years could have bought me a brand new car. :/

I've decided now to stop this silly addiction & just stick with what I've got which is a Nexus 6P for as long as possible.
