The Utterly Imbalanced CaseLabs TX10-D build(s)!

You have no idea! I was fully satisfied with the 900D but I am extremely pleased with the quality of this case. I didn't know what I was missing before this- other than the money in my wallet of course :D

I don't think Noiseblocker makes 140mm E-loops but I agree they got other great 140mm offerings. I was between the Cougar, the Akasa Viper and the Phanteks XP fans but the promo discount on these was too good to resist. Everyone I spoke to who owned these fans was very happy with them. I will be sure to let people know what I feel about them.

Meanwhile, does anyone have experience with the EK DCP 4.0 pump? I wanted to know if it is enough for a CPU/motherboard/480mm rad loop. Thanks!

I own the DCP 4.0 and i have 560mm rad loop and works great :)

Thanks Andy, that helps a lot. Likely will save me some cash too. Do you have the regular version or the PWM version? Do you control it or is it just a case of running it full speed? How noisy is it compared to, say, a rad fan that you use? Thanks again!

Cheers everyone! I just got back from work and my Datavac compressor and 8 Cougar fans are here. Time to clean up the rads and take another picture!

The fans are very, very nice indeed! The compressor is also definitely worth the money and I got my rads as dust free as possible.

Another package coming in in a couple of days with more fans, fittings etc. Tomorrow I start assembling the Mo.Ra and putting it into place, that will dictate how and where everything else goes in.

One side of the Mo.Ra mounted with fans but before I take any pictures of it, I need to drill holes into the Mo.Ra super mount to accomodate for tubing/fittings since I am going to make use of the extended top and have the entire Mo.Ra assembly above the mount.

In the meantime, about them Cougars:

I think I am a believer in the Cougars now, and I love the drop-in radiator mount concept- especially coming off the terrible to use side mounts in the 900D. Today I go back to the Mo.Ra mount and attempt some drilling.

If anyone else is interested, here are radiator volumes for the rads I have measured so far:

1) Phobya G-Changer 120 (Pretty much an Alphacool UT60 120): 220 mL
2) XSPC AX480: 300 mL
3) Alphacool Monsta 480: 670 mL
4) HardwareLabs Black Ice SR1 560: 490 mL

I may have that Phobya number off, will check again today.

That it does! Got another package today. Other than the odd fitting, splitter and flexbay solid covers I got 2 more things I am very excited to use

I will only be using the Blitz kit on the Alphacool and Phobya rads, the others will be just fine with hot water flushes + distilled water rinses hopefully. That's still a pretty decent kit for the money.

They really are. The typical way was to have the "push" set of fans in front of the radiator mount (as seen by the gap in the front) but I like the stealth look right now. Hopefully this way doesn't lower performance or anything but I think I will be fine.

Just secured in another 120mm rad, 2 Aerocool fans and another MCP35x pump as well.

I love CL cases.
I was staring at the screen with their website on it for few weeks before I pressed 'BUY' on my S8.
This looks like a great project, will keep an eye for the updates :)
