***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

Need a little help here guys.

Want to try Temp Control on my DNA mods, should be getting a bunch of SS 316L in the post today.
thing is there are no pre-set SS 316L profiles included on my mods. 316L is not even in the materials list in EScribe.
Do I simply use the SS316 profile?

Goto Steam-Engine.org and you can download the CSV file for Any wire you want and import it to your DNA via Escribe.

Some decent Ijoy deals on FT this weekend with the code DEALS...

Zennith mod, 15% off should take it down to around £16.50
RDTA 5, 15% off, should take it down to around £14!

Each:. While speaking of ijoy, they're looking to be the first to market with a dual 20700 mod, claiming 300w from 2 cells...

Just picked up my Cleito Exo tank.

First impressions 2 tanks in, easily the quickest break in time of any stock coil I've used (0.16) 4 or 5 pulls shifted the weird taste. Flavours pretty damn good, comparable to the 120 which was quite a dense, flavorful vape over the standard cleitos airy nothingness imo. It's not quite revolutionary but it's certainly punchy. Vapor production is solid considering the airflow is about half as restricted as my 120 fully open (though only tested at 80 watts).

Airflow is really nice. Lovely and smooth if slightly too restricted for my liking.

One MAJOR con I can already forsee is that 2ml capacity. Given that the coils are so big and desnsely packed with cotton, it drained the first tank in 27 pulls according to the puff count. You could always combat this if you still like the original cleito 0.4 coils which brings the capacity to 3.5ml.

Aside from that, bloody lovely little tank so far!

So if I'm using juggernoughts would I have to build the wire in the wizard & use that CSV?
Yup , build the wire ,in the Temp control results(top middle of the page) click on DNA200 & then the Download TFR table as CSV.
Have used this method for 304 SS Clapton's & it worked very well.

Ive asked before but may have been missed:- does anyone know any recipes for the Rejuiced range? I have a soft spot for some of these as they were my go-to before I discovered DIY

Thanks for the info mate.

It's going to be a pain doing it for all the different coil builds (juggernauggt, fused claptons etc) especially where I use different coil IDs, coil/tank combos, but I guess I'll just have to live with it.

Just do 1 CSV for the material & try it for all builds of that material ,no real difference between Fused Clapton & Staple or Staggerton etc.

If you build a coil from say... 316L SS wire, be it clapton or juggernaut or what ever, you only need use the CSV for 316l... only time you would need anything else is if you use different wires to make the coil, I.E, Kathal wrapped in SS.. if the coil uses the same wire type throughout, then you only need the CVS for the wire type.

I'm about to order up a couple of larger capacity tanks (while I still can)

I have a Crown v2 already which I like so I'm going to try the Crown v3. I like the look of the Melo 300 just wondering how many of you guys have one and whether you would recommend it?

What other tanks would you guys recommend? I have the Crown 2, Cleito and a iSub V already.

I'm about to get into DIY mixing so it would be nice to have some spares for testing, without cleaning and emptying between each batch.

Hoping to place an order later today so any suggestions are most welcome :)

Thanks

Personally wouldn't worry about the tank capacity thing, manufacturers are already shipping small tanks with optional extensions (Kylin, exo to name a few).

Worst case, buy from China...

You might be better off with a RDA (dripper) if you're wanting to start mixing your own.

Oh :) thanks for this. I suppose there will always be a way around the upcoming changes. A circular piece or glass only becomes a tank I suppose once it has the top and bottom added.

I've never tried a dripper Gee. I suppose it works great for trying small batches?

its perfect for that sort of thing, just burn off the last of the liquid in a few pulls and drip up with your new one, takes a minute at most.

not ideal to change flavours constantly but an rda will handle that better than any tank.

something like the good ol' troll v2 would be excellent, although be warned it'll make tanks somewhat lacklustre by comparison.

Well I placed 3 orders last Monday. One from wireandstuff, one from DNA vapes and one from Fasttech...

Guess which one is set to arrive first

Like UK retailers really need to encourage me to buy from China anymore then I already am.
