***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

Odd question I hope somebody could help clear up for me. I've been using my Cuboid for a little while now, it's got a Cleito tank with the 0.4Ohm coil. I'm currently vaping a 70vg/30pg Blue Slush from Jackamoo, and it's set at 45W on the Cuboid.

This works perfectly fine when I've got the Samsung 30Q's in, if I've got the LG HE4's in, the Cuboid doesn't fire correctly, I can feel it pulsing the power so it's vaping for split second, then not, then vaping again etc.

This only happens with the HE4's and only at about 45w, I've not tried going higher, but I've backed it off to 39w and it's working perfectly fine.

Am I hitting some kind of internal battery resistance? I watched the screen while it was happening last night, and the vape timer on the display was counting up the miliseconds and then resetting, and then counting up again and so on. The button was held down firmly the entire time which makes it all the weirder.

No issues like this on the 30Q's though.

in a word, yes...

once the batteries have been used for a while, internal resistance builds up in them and the voltage that they can produce drops. if the mod feels that the voltage coming from the battery is too low, you will get a weak battery message or it just wont fire.

it is IMPORTANT that in any dual, triple or quad battery mod, that you swap the order that the batteries goes in. The one that is nearest to the atty; circuit wise takes more strain that then next. it's more important in a series mods but does have some effect in the real world when it comes to parallel mods.

some people including me, swap the order that they go in to the charge too.

this is so the batteries share the grunt of the workload and age at the same rate as each other.

It doesn't have to be a perfect system, batteries are not made in pairs and when buying them, your getting two randomly picked one that can have a different compound mixture, it's just an attempt. :)

These were freshly off the charge batteries, would that make a difference?

Thanks for the info, I didn't know the nearest battery took the beating, I just assumed they were the same as the battery meter (on the Cuboid and the charger) shows them both at about the same charge level. I'll swap them around from time to time.

So far these triton 0.4 coils arnt that good, cant taste my raspberry rasputin in compared to the. Dunno if dud coil or not but im trying them at 30-35 as 40 isnt very nice and higher probably wont be good at all.

Its had juice in the tank since earlier today. So had enough time to get proper soaked in juice in the melo 3 mini. Wide open airflow too.

I just don't think the Melo is very good, my coils are lasting maybe 4 days at best. The flavour isn't great at all either. If I try to push it above 40W my coils just burn out near enough straight away. .3ohm ones.

Unless there fakes, but store bought so shouldn't be.

The .3 one i had that came with the melo was great, lots of flav could fire up to 50. These triton holy grail ones that i was told to buy are naff for flav in comparison not better. :(

Wish I was having the same results, I was at first. Off to buy a Cieleto Aspire today. If a coil lasts a week, I'll save money.

The fire button on my vtc mini is starting to fail, so i'm on the lookout for a new single battery regulated mod. The Aspire NX-75 looks like it might fit the bill, unless anyone has any recommendations?. Thanks

Where is the best place to order the Pico? I want one before holiday :) Is the serpent mini still the best tank for it?

Depends how soon you need it mate.

Fasttech have it on sale for £17 currently (link), whereas Amazon/DNA Vapes are selling it for ~£40

FT delivery is gonna be anywhere between 9-12 days providing you choose China Post.

Thanks, I was looking at Fasttech, what is the difference between the 75w and 80w version other than the price and 5w?

Also I currently have a cleito and Aroma RDTA but am tempted by the serpent mini, whats it like?

There's the Pico and the Pico Mega. The Mega supports 26650 batteries, as well as 18650s. Looks like you get a sleeve which you insert for using 18650 cells.

If I had to choose, I'd get the Mega just for the form factor and I think it'll feel nicer in the hand.

Pico Mega

Pico

Just take note the Mega has a lead time of 4 days currently, so you'll need to wait for it to come into stock, then delivery on top of that.

I have a Serpent Mini and I like it. It's a really nice vape providing you can wick it correctly. If you can build your RDTA, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine with the Serpent Mini dude.

Anyone been having issues with novavapes shipping? I've been waiting a month for my last order to arrive and this business of paying £15 for 30ml of coil killer from the local shop is getting old fast.

Just put an Aspire on my Pico, so much better. More flavour, and no nasty burnt taste.

My Melo must be knackered or something, going through 2 coils in a week.

They posted something on Reddit the other day about that.

https://www.reddit.com/r/ECR_UK/comments/4w4hcq/regarding_complaints_and_postage/

Explains it all.

Yeah, emailed rob and he said that was the issue, but its been a month now, and i never recieved their "dispatched" email.

Emailed him again earlier in the week had no reply thus far, hate for this to have to go to the stage of disputing through paypal but £100 is a not insignificant chunk of cash for no return

If they're aware of the issue I'd assume they'll sort it out for you dude. No harm in dropping them another email just to make sure.
