Indeed, and they are very into their censorship.
Various female artists dress very differently in Malaysia, some are not allowed to perform at all.
Episodes of TV shows such as friends, are brutally hacked so the overall lengths are vastly reduced.
There is no surprise here.

99% of what Islam declare as "offensive" is just childish dribble.

Why only the pig's face? If it's offensive, censor the entire damn pig like in the Pooh/Piglet pic above. It's either offensive or not offensive. Don't sit on the fence and just block out a face, as it means that there is still some pork left on the picture :p
 
I still can't get over the fact that, with the ingenuity of the human race and all it has achieved, some of its members still think pigs should be censored.
 
The BBC routinely censors news stories involving the words muslim or islam, anything that could be construed as a hate crime is quietly dropped.

They even censor cartoon t-shirts just in case it offends.
Believe it or not, this (t shirt) was banned by the BBC from a Debate programme

That didn't stop Muhammad Shafiq organising a 20,000 signature petition to Nick Clegg, saying that the [picture] had caused an "extreme amount of insult, hurt and anguish".

Really? Get a ****ing grip, it's a cartoon.

Note that Shafiq doesn't feel too bad about hosting speakers to attack jews ('filth') and gays ('death') :rolleyes:
He's a typical lib dem candidate it seems.

Islam doesn't, idiots however do. Pigs aren't against Islam, just eating their meat is, which also applies to any other carnivorous animals such as cats, dogs, bears and so on.

This is partly why the story seemed ridiculous to me. If the picture was completely removed because it was of pigs there would at least be a sort of logic to it, silly though that censorship may seem to most of the rest of the world. But why just black out the faces of the pigs? Are they trying to protect their identity? Is a picture of a pig only unclean if you can see its eyes? :confused:

It's not offensive to Muslims. You should really try and avoid adding to your already quite high levels of ignorance by believing stuff like this.
