Surprised there's no thread on this yet!

It's out late April and the season can be pre-ordered for $22.49 from telltale's website right now. The new gameplay trailer looks epic as well and the gore hasn't been toned down either.

I'm going to be pre-ordering tonight, seems you also get auto entered into a draw to have your photo rendered into the game as a character who dies and turns into a zombie in episode 4 as well if you pre-order!

Isn't this the same sort of gameplay as Jurassic Park, which was all QTE's?

No doubt it will sell due to the link with The Walking Dead comics and TV show, but I'm not a fan of quicktime button mashing plus it looks a bit dull.

Looks pretty lame to me, I'd prefer just sit there and watch the whole thing rather than having to do qte's.

I'm sure the gameplay footage of someone playing through the entire thing will be uploaded to youtube after it's released so you might get your wish.

Watching someone else do the qte's is almost as bad. I ment I'd rather see it as just a cg movie if the story was good enough. Much more enjoyable to watch that than have to sit there through lots of tedious gameplay imo.
