Just come back from watching this, what a great, great film.

Didn't think i'd feel as attached to the characters as i did, excellent fight scenes and plot behind it.

Go see it!

I saw this on Sunday, and thought that this film was epic! Certainly one of the best modern fight films that I have seen.

The ending is pretty predictable, but it in no way detracts from the brilliant plot and build up to it. I think the ending could have been extended a bit to actually find out what happens post fight. But that could possibly would detract from the story.

Certainly worth watching!

As one reviewer put it, all the rocky's rolled into one, I think that sums it up quite accurately.

Saw it last Friday, thought it was pretty good. Very similar to Fighter in a way, but obvious UFC & brothers fighting each other. 4/5 rating

Just got back from watching it and absolutely loved it. My film of the year. Tom Hardy is built like a brick *********, looks like a real life Bane, I can't wait to see that next year.

The fighting was great, but the acting and script was top notch, certainly pulled me in emotionally and I did actually shed tears (of joy) during it!

Just finished watching this, absolute quality film. Characters have depth and emotion, the story is perfectly paced, and the fight scenes are really awesome and convey very well the strengths and weaknesses of each brother. I didn't want it to stop, could easily have watched anther half hour and would have loved to see the backstory tied up a little.

8.5/10.

Dear god me and the GF watched this last night

..........

Best movie of the Year so far by a large margin

8.3 on IMDB is well deserved

I was thoroughly confused there :p Looked up "The Warrior" and its about an indian chap in a desert. I call deceiving thread title!

Just watched this for the second time and imo this is overall the best fighting/martial arts tournament film I have ever seen. Including Rocky.

Sure the old cheesy ones were great and had more of a fun factor and more comic book-esque characters, but this movie is just all-out raw and also very emotional without even really trying to be if you compare it to the Rocky series which ladled it on with a large wooden spoon. Just the history of the brothers made it incredibly compelling, and the way the story and atmosphere were built up was just perfect, creating more and more tension, and by the end it just has that epic feeling which few films of this type can manage.

Love it, and look forward to my next viewing. :)

PS: The movie is called "Warrior", not "The Warrior".
