The Website iCraig Built pt2.

Think I'm going to cut the header images down to 200px height rather than 400px.

Mr_L, can you see why the <li> links in the navigation don't have the same height, and width in IE.

Does FF not support these properties on inline elements?

Some people are either too lazy to scroll down

No way, they can't be arsed to flick their scroll wheel down two notches? ffs..

The buttons look odd, like theyve been thrown in between the title and main section.. try removing the borders and see if they flow better with the black/dark grey above?

The bottom line with copyright info and links isnt on the same level, of height i mean. Looks odd.

I like the button changing colour on roll over for the different backgrounds.

And wooop theres that javascript image viewer. Nice customisations to it.

I think the buttons look better in IE as they're bigger.

Sorry, I can't see the problem but you have got a lot of link styling going on. Sometimes it's a lot easier to keep things simpler.

The copy makes you sound (to put it mildly) like an ass.

The banner gradient doesn't work with the background. That's why it looks odd up there.. Oh and the navigation seems oddly placed and too small.

I quite like the big images on each page (not sure about the wee girl though..)

Enjoy.

This is a quick rough one, but its an idea which reduces the height of the banner/image etc :)

I think you'll end up with a good site, theres some good ideas in there, keep it up! :)

That's the ticket. Not a big fan of the Courier/Courier-esque font in the title; whilst something more like Dave's is much nicer there are still much better choices you could make :)

By copy I mean the written content on your site. The contact part inparticular.

Do you work freelance?
No, I work full time.

Will you be part of my web project/collaboration/forum/design team/secret idea/walk my dog?
No sorry.

Can I use your site design, images, and basically anything on this site for my own?

*cough*

The stuff about music too.. I don't know. If I were a client I'd look at that and thing 'what an arse' and move straight on to the next blokes site.

I'm not after clients, so if people leave because I'm not offering services, then thats a good thing.

I'm not selling myself and my archive is not a potential portfolio, that isn't the point of this website. The point is to simply show the world what I like to do, afterall..what is the point designing something if nobody will ever see it?

I'm also sick of recieving emails asking for a logo design or to join a design team full of 14 year olds. So that should shunt those away quite nicely.

The contact section makes you come across as extremely arrogant. Not sure if that was your intention, i.e. to stop people contacting you? But then, what is the point of the contact section if you don't want people getting in touch?
