The weekend's (22nd) football *there be spoilers*

Yes, but by the time the ball was in the net, it's not very useful having players having just got to their feet in the centre circle. It's basic etiquette.

Right, so they dont need treatment to continue playing, yet we need to put the ball out because...

The first yellow was for the foul on Pires, I think you're thinking of the Eboue foul later. For the seond it may have been a foul on him but I don't remember him getting anything on the ball.

Sorry meant he played FOR the ball and didnt go to ground in the process.

Since you conveniently failed to mention it, what are your thoughts on the 1st goal? I remember on Wednesday we had a good break but even though we thought their player was diving we still kicked it out.

So we played a load of idiots who run into one another - what are we meant to do about it? :)

Ok, an opposition player trips over, do you put the ball out?

Of course not.

The rest isn't a great leap of logic.

What was the allocation for this semi, as i couldnt get a ticket, but there seems to be a hell of a lot more scousers than chelski fans there????

Great game so far, set up nicely.

If there is it wouldnt be many, they slip the ground in half, so just dependent on capacity behind each goal.

So far so good though, don't know why there complaining about the free-kick, it may have been harsh but he gave a free-kick for the same thing when Crouch fouled Terry.
