The Wierdo's of MySpace

I like this forum - its got lots of good content, is well moderated and is semi useful in the odd IT related disaster. Just been on the foums of MySpace though and I can't believe the carp they have on there in the public forums! Considering MySpace recieves 4 times more traffic than GOOGLE, I would have thought they'd be super hot with moderation, esp when you think about all the kids on there.

Anyways thats besides the point, I keep getting very odd people who I don't even know trying to add me, and I have to wonder why! I dont mind some people such as the odd person from OcUK adding me but I've had 2 hippies from Alaska try to add me today! How do they even get to my profile?! Do they even have the Interweb in Alaska?!

More of a rant than a post - though I'm new to MySpace so I'm sure I'll figure it outs.

Wounded! I read on Bit-tech last month that there was 4 times more traffic, a quick google throws up 2.6 times as much traffic or something like that - So I dunno whats going on.

MySpace just got a lot more interesting, the Man Whore of campus just signed up so its now just all about him for most of the day - which is mildly entertaining and semi-bearable.

But I hate the constant bulletins about the fake MySpace trackers, grrrr!
