The Wild Robot

Watched this after seeing the trailer. Was not disappointed. Really couldn't fault it. It reminded me of Wall-E in it's overall tone and style more than anything else. Best Disney/Pixar style animation I've seen in a very long while.

all my kids loved this film. I think its a great DreamWorks film. Shame cannot get it on disc until Jan. Its one of best films i have seen this year though i haven't seen Kraven the hunter yet.

Yeah, I don't think Kraven will beat it judging by the early reviews... :eek:
 
Took my 4 and 8 year old girls, i felt it was a good film until the robot attack scene, kids got scared with all the attacking and i ended up feeling bad i took them to watch it. Otherwise i would say its a good story 8/10
 
Thought this was great! Daughter gave it a thumbs up after not wanting to see it as she'd read the book first. Reliably informs me the film only covers half the book so expect a sequel.

I haven't read the books, so I'm kind of encouraged by that. i understand that it's a series of books that covers different issues though?
