The Wind

Not really windy here at the moment although 80mph gales forecast for tomorrow.

All the fireworks displays have been called off.

Will tommorrows wind also be the end of the world, clv, or is that just global warming, the hole in the ozone layer and peak oil? :D
 
Nah it's just cos he has sprouts tomorrow :p

Still only forecast for 30mph winds here in the NE tomorrow :)


Edit: Make that 17mph, was forecast higher when I last looked :confused:

Naw, I'm sure everything will be just fine and dandy... worst case scenario is a few trees down, maybe taking some power lines with them. Of course there's always a chance someone will the standing under a falling tree in which case it could be the end of the world for that poor individual!
 
It was really really windy last night here (Crewe) and was REALLY throwing it down with rain, enough for me to hear it even when I had headphones on!

Bah its only the wind, anyone would think you'd never seen wind before. Why in my day we had real wind, wind that would turn you inside out if you opened your mouth. Wind that was so strong even medium sized german cars were flipped into hedges at the slightest provocation.

Honestly, young folk today just don't know what their talking about.
 
Lots of noise as rain was being blown hard into our window earlier, so guessing it was pretty windy round here too.
 
Hopefully it's not as windy as last night....a few miles up the road, someone was killed when a tree fell onto their caravan. :(

Very windy in north-west kent, blew over the trampoline in the back garden, that was fun to sort out in the dark.
