The witcher. anyway to force Vsync?

ive just installed the witcher looks a great game, but there is no option to turn on vsync ? is there anyway to get vsync working as the tearing is quite bad and i cant play games without vsync many thanks in advance

RivaTuner, set both Open-GL and DIRECT-3D to Always ON.

In vista you'll need to use something like D3dOverrider, which comes with rivatuner, if you have SP1 installed. Without SP1 installed the methods Sweetloaf and helmutcheese suggested should work.

Im talking Any OS inc Vista SP1.

RT is all you need, latest being 2.08.

im not that familar with rivatuner how do i set open gl and direct 3d to always on please?

Use the newer 174.xx drivers, the 169.xx don't work well with Vista SP1 and Vsync.

I use 169's offical Betas as Leaked 174's are not for most 8000's and using modded files dont change that.

I get Driver crash/recover crap all the time in many games with them.

No problem, like you I can't stand tearing either, was also especially bad on The Witcher until I found out solutions

superb vsync is sorted now! thanks a bunch mate. ive had other probs with vsync games like hour of victory hopefully this will sort it too dont understand why the 169 vista drivers dont solve the vysnc issue?

Now i just have to work out how to attack ppl with the sword in the witcher dont want to be a dumb ass but i cant work out how to swing my sword ??? be grateful if someone can help me

i dont know if its just me but after ive installed the 174.20 drivers desktop seems so more responisve now?? probabrly just me ?
