Thing is, forums like this are dying and treating newcomers like that is only going to speed up the demise.

It's not as if he's garnishing tens of millions of views via this forum to live a cocaine and hookers lifestyle. He'll get a few views at best and thats about it.

We have rules and they apply to everyone - and everyone agreed to them when they signed up.

do you use reddit? a lot of the reddit groups are full of spam self promotion.

this forum would be horrible if it became the same

usually these people want to form their own community anyway not be part of one that already exists.

That’s the crux of it. Without the rules you’d have tens of threads on each page of “check out today’s video I did”.
