** THE WORLDS MOST POWERFUL & FIRST TITANIUM PSU: CORSAIR 1500Wi DIGITAL!! **

1300w Antec HCP PSU's are good for big overclocks I heard :)

But seriously, the 1500w corsair does seem much better than the AX1200i.

reading jonny guru's review, this doesn't even have any real competition atm, so the price, despite looking a bit steep, is in fact quite ok.

At least it's one big fat single rail on this, iirc other 1500w units (thermal take?) Are 5 x 25a on the 12v.

I want (don't need). Dealing with corsair atm over a rma for a replacement headset which broke again, they seem to be doing everything they can to help. Shame they do not take software as serious as there hardware other than that corsair seem to me to be doing a bang up job to me.

Price is better than I thought tbh expected £400+

It's a 1500w titanium rated PSU the best of the best. If you need this to run your PC you're gonna be already well accustomed to spending big money!

I'm not able to confirm, but what I can say is my R&D team are working on digital PSU's. They are aware of what problems the AX1200i had and will be ensuring the Antec products don't suffer from any of these issues :)

Absolutely incredible this got a perfect 10 from johnnyguru. First time hes given that out. That says something about the pure quality of this unit. I
Dont think the price is unreasonable, its steep compared to others but but theres nothing on the market that comes close. This is a good example of you get what you pay for

Yep, and there is White which is below Bronze, but going forward that will be EOL as come July it will be against government rules to use anything below a Bronze rated PSU.

If the government find out you don't have a Bronze PSU in your PC, they will smash your doors down and put your PC in a crusher and fine you £1000. ;)

Great, finally got a reason to replace the plane engine in my dad's computer!

That rule doesn't affect pcs build by the public. The rule only affect businesses who build pcs they sell... like Ocuk.

So resellers can sell PSUs which are not compliant fine, but they cannot use them in a full system they are selling.

And you don't need a bronze rated PSU anyway. In simple terms the new Law called ER LOT 26 effectively means that any system builder pc that is sold has to draw less than 5w of power when switch off but plugged in.

Some none bronze rated psus will be fine for this requirement.

Many entry level psus will not though

Saw the jonnyguru review on thursday, does seem like a hell of a psu to impress him, especially considering he didnt pull any punches with the how average the corsair RM units were. different oem i guess (CWT)
When we get some smaller size titanium units and some higher end GPU's that are as efficient as the 750ti full on silent fanless gaming builds will be almost viable, cant wait!

You can already buy fanless power supplies and since the 750ti hardly uses any power you can grab one.
