It's 2 x Nvidia Quadro 295, 8 Cuda Cores, 256MB each.

1) There totally stable and never crash.
2) It has Nvidia Mosaic so I can span software development apps over 3 screens.
3) It has Nvidia Nview for arranging development programs on the screen.
4) They support correct refresh rate for your monitor, unlike AMD eyefinity that I could only get running at 60Hz (less eye strain)

5) But most important, the cards are so slow you can't play any games on them, so sitting at your computer you just keep working instead.

So there you have it, the worlds most productive graphics card for software development is a Quadro NVS 295 worth about £10 on fleebay.

I've got an NVS 310. :p

It's quite interesting that nVidia cards used to have monitor spanning as an option for years until they moved it to Quadro only as a "feature", to then be implemented again a number of years later as "Surround".

I have no idea what you're talking about!

I managed to score one for a tenner, and the "icing on the cake" is that it was actually brand new!

Cool story... Trying to figure out where or who needs poop in proverbial letterbox now...

Yup, that's probably enough Internet for me now! Having strange thoughts about chimneys, poops and smelly Santa's
