I'm messing with screws for fans myself. Doing some final truing up and measurement checks and realised (why after all these years) that I don't have sufficient clearance between tube and fan to use regular screws. But the XSPC radiator uses 6-32 UNC threads, and finding UNC bolts in metric lengths is impossible, especially when you're using a 15mm thick Noctua fan.
After digging through numerous places I'm now chopping down countersunk 3/4 inch bolts to 18mm length and drilling countersinks into my fan so it's all flush and doesn't interfere with the tube over the top.
So forgive me for being a little triggered by your fan screws
love the build looks clean af and would not stand out as a pc in a room.
Wow, looks amazing.
Why lying for!One of these days i'll finish a project and leave it alone
Send it to me
Then you won't have to keep fiddling around with it
I will be doing you a favour honest
Makes my efforts look a bit weak! All looks very professional.
Looks absolutely incredible, great job
looks amazing mate, congrats. Really like it with the white lighting
I just sold off a system and moved my main rig into itx because the woman wants to reclaim the living room space I was using.
So we made a deal for som room upstairs and an itx system… when it was done I actually said there I’m done buying, she as not stopped laughing yet.
I just told my wife that it will never end and probably do this aslong as i'm interested in doing it. She said okay, you do what you enjoy! WIFE OF THE YEAR!
There is a lot worse things you could be doing. The wife knows I’m happy and I’m not moaning at her so it’s all good
Never actually occurred to me beforeOh i bet, i'm sure you would make good use of my main rig .
Been thinking about adapting a 240mm radiator to the back of the system on QD's so i can take it around easier. But then thought about it last night and the system on its own without the MORA attached weighs in around 8kg
