The only thing i've not tried that might pose a problem would be Call of Duty 2.......

Then I shall stick with what I have and avoid temptation, I've just finished a good long session with everything on it's highest settings a a nice, high framrate. Go SLI! :D

I'm using a 6800Ultra in a NF3 system and I'm torn between the upgrade path at the moment, X1800XT 256 or one of these 7900Gt's...been over a week now and can't make my mind up! Its never been this difficult before!? :p

its dead easy.

your jump in performance now will be huge.

conroe is far away go for it.

its never a better time to upgrade.

Get fast performance now and let the guinea pigs have conroe for a few months :D

I broke. I bought another 7900gt. Welshtom's tom post above about not playing things maxed at 1600x1200 got to me. I upped the AF to 16, turned 'high performance' into 'high quality', put supersampling on (which really looks good in Oblivion by the way. Gives all the trees more distinction) and low an behold games became 'less' playable.

Another card was the only option really. (I hate my self, the lie sounds hollow in my ears...I just really couldn't help it)
