Just done a quick search and didn't find owt.

Soooo new super group comprised of Josh Homme, Alain Johannes on guitars, Dave Grohl on drums and John Paul Jones on bass.

Not heard any of there stuff yet but when I do I'll report back. Needless to say it will rock.

All we have on them is the 14 second promo video on YouTube at the moment... They were rumoured to have Dave Grohl on the Chris Moyles show this morning - not sure if it was true or not as I don't listen to Chris Moyles.

Certainly looks interesting though... The X on the website continues to move across the Google Maps - people have been marking its progression and it seems to be moving towards the UK and Europe :)

They are meant to be releasing an album soon and going on tour - so we should here more information very soon!!

They're playing tonight in Amsterdam :eek:
There is also rumours flying around of an appearance at the Reading festival!
 
I went to the Amsterdam gig tonight.:D

Energy was unbelievable, I'm excited to hear the album. Sounds pretty promising. The one track they've released clips of isn't as good as some of the other tracks IMO. There's definitely some great riffs in there

I was half tempted to pay for a ticket out there - but I have no friends that like that sort of music :p

About 90 minutes or so, no real announcements to speak of, but they really seemed to be enjoying themselves. Definitely have great chemistry, they jammed one of their songs out to 10 minutes!

Getting the ticket was the hard part! They were only on sale from 6pm the day before the show, and everyone had to buy them in person, to get the wristband and everything. We got there an hour before sales opened and we were around 800th in the queue!:eek:

I also really hope Dave isn't going to forget about the Foos :p
 
Wow, extremely jealous that you got to see them :D. Great to see Grohl back behind a drum kit, the Foo's have done some decent stuff but the man was born to drum! I cant wait to hear more from them! Josh Homme, JPJ and Dave Grohl, they really have the makings of an amazing band.
