Is there anyway that I could get Theme Hospital to run on a Mac? I've searched Google but it doesn't come up with any good answers. I know I could install Windows on here but I don't have a copy I could use. Is there an emulator I could use or something along those lines? I currently have a copy of Theme Hospital but it's for Windows.

Any help is appreciate.

Virtual PC is basically a program that lets you install a version of Windows onto a different OS.

You will still need a copy of Windows (obviously) to do this.

The installed OS can then be run inside a window through your normal OS

A virtualizer on the Mac may not run the game though, they're not too fond of 3d intensive programs.

That and the OP has already ruled out installing Windows.

Not sure there's any way other than installing Windows, although there's a program called 'Crossover' for Mac, which may suit your needs.

You could check out WINE or Crossover, they shouldn't have much problem running it as it's such an old game. You can run it under DosBox in Dos Mode but the graphics are not very good.

After much struggling (I was up until 6am) I managed to get it working with Boxer (A DOSBOX program I found) but it ran unbelievably slowly.

I could just go and use a PC but I'd prefer to lay on the sofa, damn my laziness.

You may have to ramp up the CPU cycles (Ctrl + F12 I think) on DosBox as the default is very low, theme hospital is one of the more demanding DOS games so check the settings. I was playing Theme Hospital on my MacBook last week but I was running it under bootcmap.
