Hey everyone, sorry if there is a duplicate of this anywhere, the only theme related thread that came up on search was from 2006 I think so that's obviously much too outdated by now seeing as I'm using Leopard not Tiger. My question is this: I was wondering if anybody would know a good place that I can download mac themes from. Now I've tried traipsing through www.macthemes2.net and they don't seem to have any search function in their forums? If they do could anybody tell me where the hell the search function is? If it doesn't can anyone tell me some other good resource of mac themes? Cheers :)

Use Magnifique. You can get it here: http://magnifique.pcwizcomputer.com/forum/filebase.php?d=1&id=39&c_old=3&what=c&page=1, after it runs make sure to update the theme list by refreshing the panel in the bottom left corner.

Cheers EVH, also out of interest just while you're here do you know how to alter the colour of the icons in the task bar at the top of the screen? Ie. the wireless indictator, battery power, volume, date etc? Cheers :)

That could probably be done in Candybar, or manually if you knew what files to edit/replace.

I don't really customise the UI, so aside from holding option to drag around the icons I can't really help, sorry :o

Check out this thread over at MacThemes http://macthemes2.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16791898. I'm afraid they don't change the colour of the icons but change the style of them that are very sleek.

Comes with a handy installer and uninstaller if you don't like them.

Apart from changing icons (and Candybar is great!) I don't get the point of trying to theme OS X. All that happens is you get something that looks like a crappy clone of OS X instead, kind of like those horrible Linux desktop themes or Vista running Rocketdock. :( :D
