Theory test tomorrow guys, any tips? Getting 33-35/35 in the mock exams.

I take it the hazard perception picture quality wont be as poor as it is on this CD I've got. I was expected to click at what was a blur basically. There would have been no way that anyone could say it was a woman hiding behind her car! :o

It'll be similar, well was for me 2...getting on 3 years ago.

If you pass the practice ones, you'll do well on the actual one...well I did :D

For most of the questions you will find they are actually exactly the same as the ones you are doing on your practice tests, i thought i had done mine way too fast so i checked repeatedly over the test which felt wierd when i had 25 mins still to go. Im sure you will do fine i got 34 and 65 on the hazard perception having never practiced the hazard test before. Im sure you will do fine, good luck.

If anything moves, hit the mouse...

A leaf falls, hit it, but be sure to not over-do it...

I got 2 "you have hit the mouse too many times and will score 0 for this part" when I did it, and still got 67 (I think maybe 57, can't remember).

Yeah, I had that, I got some questions I'd already done, and I even got some hazard perception clips I'd already done whilst at home. :)

Good luck.

Cheers guys. Yeah questions are the same, just worded differently. And most of the answers are to do with safety for yourself and other drivers.

Im worried about clicking too soon as well.

Take this for example. In a clip i just watched, i clicked too soon. I saw a car and was looking at it, waiting for something to happen, as i saw this man appear from behind, i clicked. I could clearly see him at the point i clicked in the replay. But somehow i didn't score anything, i had clicked too early. :o

You should be looking at somewhere in the region of 7-10 clicks in the "single hazard" clip and closer to 15 for the "double hazard" one.

Plus it doesn't register how many you click, it registers the frequency. So if you're careful you can click loads of times and not get pulled up. But it can happen the other way too - you click 5 times in a row and lose all the points.

And it took me 5 attempts to pass mine. :o

Not booked yet. I put my driving on hold because it was taking me so long to pass my theory, lol. Costing me a bomb in driving lessons.

Gonna take a couple lessons this week, check I haven't developed any bad habits, and go from there.

I can see the 2 year limit expiring though. :p ;) :D

Took 3 tries till I passed mine... I needed 30/35 to pass, on the first two I got 29 and on the third I got 34...

Typical!

Im just glad I didn't have to do the stupid hazard thing..

Good luck topgun06, I have my theory today too - booked for motorcycle though :)

Been going through a test CD this last month, just to make sure I'm ready, having not read the highway code for about 6-7 years, and it's looking good.

That hazard thing looks a bit pants, never done it before.

Scort.

I hope you pass bud, good luck.

I just (well, at 11:40 ish) got 35 on the multiple choice part and 59 on the hazard part, so I'm well chuffed at the moment :D

Scort.
