Theory Test

They do ask the same pool of questions, but some of them may be slightly updated with different wording/pictures. :) Mine were pretty much the same as the CDrom i had!

same here, I did cds to and a lot of questions I did on the cd but its all common sense really, just make sure you remember the stopping distances.

Cheers guys.
Stopping distances are pretty much the only thing I ever need to think about because as you say its all common sense.
I'll be committing them to memory before the weekend.

I got my practical tomorrow  I'm actually looking forward to it because I know I have the ability to pass it, I just hope I don't forget something silly like checking mirrors.

Good luck mate! Eat loads of bannanas before you go and stay calm like its any other lesson.

I got mine on the 30th next month :)

Thanks gam3r, i'll post later with how I got on.

edit: I just got back and I failed :( . It was only the reverse parking that done it for me, I clipped the kerb as I was straightening up. Only 6 minors too. It was a really good drive, but it was just that stupid manouever.

i thought clipping a curb was okay, just a minor?

Unlucky mate, get the restest booked ASAP, should sail through nextime!

Yeah I wish it was counted as a minor, but they try to turn it against you as though there could have been a pedestrian there. It's a bit out of order cause I think I would have noticed a person, you can't see the kerb.

thats so ******* stupid, a friend of mine did so poorly mounted the kerb didnt look in mirrors ANYWHERE near enough, and she passed  its not right they do not judge it purely on ability because if they did she shoud have failed.

Just failed my practical:(

I think in the end the nerves got to me, I made a mistake in my first maneuvre (reverse park) and knew I'd failed a few minutes in.

Better luck next time, eh?

I wasn't nervous on mine cause I knew I was ready to take it and I was just enjoying the drive, I was nervous on my mock test but totally confident for my real test. What happens if you're miles away from the kerb, can that be a serious error?

I passed my theory this morning
35 on the multiple choice and 58 on the HP.
Would have liked a bit higher on HP but a pass is a pass :D

Well done on the theory, ain't it easy?! I got 35/35 on the questions too! but 68 on HP (not bragging or anything)!
