Now call me anal, but i start thinking about what car im having next, years before i own one.

Now would this

be another case or mrlol fail going for another vauxhall with a big engine and tacky interior.

Kinda thinking i should move to something different. Like this for example

But after hearing that mustang at the RR, ive got a feeling the subaru exhaust note and small boot just wouldnt quite hit the spot.

V8 with a noise to die for, on a 20k budget? CERBERA! with 8k or so to spare as bits slowly fall apart on it :p

Not much for me that can beat the raw sound of an AMG V8, go for one of those! Its like eating steak with chainsaws before you go and do something else manly.

The VXR8 would meet with the OcUK seal of aproval, as it suffers much less from the 'death at every corner' issues the Vextra VXR has :)

the POWAAAAARRRRRRrrrr! Is too much! Maybe the gearbox from a manual 535d could handle it?

535ds are auto only for this very reason, well torxxx ;)
it'd also be crap with a manual.
you'd be surprised at how well autos suit the bmw diesels

16 Litre V8 - There aint indeed no replacement for displacement.:cool::cool:

I'm sure i saw a R500 (if there is such a thing) on the A1 heading down south a few weeks ago, had a big load of wood on the back and was blown away at how quickly it was weaving its way around the slow moving traffic.
