needs rear seats and a boot big enough to take a family on holiday.

No, because it isn't really a Vauxhall. It's a RWD saloon with a 'Vette engine, not a FWD rep-mobile. I say go for it.

Not much for me that can beat the raw sound of an AMG V8, go for one of those! Its like eating steak with chainsaws before you go and do something else manly.

535ds are auto only for this very reason, well torxxx

it'd also be crap with a manual.
you'd be surprised at how well autos suit the bmw diesels

I'm sure i saw a R500 (if there is such a thing) on the A1 heading down south a few weeks ago, had a big load of wood on the back and was blown away at how quickly it was weaving its way around the slow moving traffic.
