Second release in a few weeks that has crashed the site and people left with little hope of getting what they want. Maybe a pre registration on the forums for established users would stop the crashes or at least give those loyal customers a better chance? OCUK has all the info so shouldn't be that difficult to do ?

Any other ideas?

Just wait till it comes down.

Gibbo says they have loads of stock coming. There isnt infinite demand like there was for the 3xxx series.

At some point people will snap out of it and wonder why they are paying over rrp for these cards (as that makes them no better price/perf wise than we had before).

At some point later this year they will be at MSRP again (unless something unforseen happens economy wise)

I don't think i'd even be mad if Gibbo let us pre-order things at a cost. With a minimum age on the forum/website account.

I'd be ok paying £10 extra for a guarentee'd order with none of the stress, even if they limit it on here in a special forum where your account needs a certain age to enter.
 
Really does seem OC need a better / a system for high demand

Waiting would be fine if the prices didnt crept or leap up

Bit lucky, tried here 1st, but after 504 / 500 just moved on to another site that worked and had a Pulse at the same price

age restriction? some of us have forum accounts that are old enough to drink let alone the people behind them lol

This is what I'll be doing, I tried for a bit before I got fed up. Life is too short for this garbage. If I really want one I'll pick one up later but I've definitely got better things to do than stare at "504 Bad Gateway" for hours.
