There is a bug INSIDE my monitor

I had this in my old monitor. Luckily mine crawled into the corner and eventually died, so it wasn't too obvious. Very annoying if you've just paid a bomb for a new monitor!
 
Tip, black background, huge mouse, trick it into the corner or edge, sit with a torch and shine it in, hopefully it will jump out :)

Same thing happened to me a few years ago, I just turned off the monitor and put a bright lamp next to it.

Left it overnight and the annoying bug had left in the morning

It's also incredibly out of focus in reality as well, it's not just the focus on the picture that's blurred. It looks as though it's a mm or so behind the actual front part of the screen.

Yesterday it was crawling around, I turned the screen off and left a light near it but it must have croaked there overnight. It's not smack bang in the middle, just an inch and a half or so from the bottom.
 
I had one go into a dell 2405 a week after getting it brand new. It died in the middle of my screen. Luckily it dried out and I flicked the screen until it dropped to the bottom.

I never open the windows in the summer at night when I have my screen on and always use my 2nd screen in the summer when the buggers turn up and save my good screen for when they have ****ed off.
