Thermal Paste

Would i notice a big diffrence from my cheap thermal paste and then to go Artic Silver i have currently lapped cpu i have noticed idle temps are good but when go to stress it, it gets hot a lot quicker?

You probably wouldn't see more than a few degrees difference assuming it'd be properly applied in both cases.

I have saw a thew posts about it that some people have noticed a big diffrence like 10c lower.

As above a few degrees is all you'll probably see, what temps are you getting at the mo?

I'd guess at 5 degs max TBH, a lot has to do with mounting and how well you've done this, Even with the same cooler if you balls up the application of the paste then you may even see temps go higher.

44 idle at 3.4ghz 1.4v

forgot to menchin cpu is lapped temps were little better without it been lapped at load, wouldn't go over 60c

If the temps are worse after lapping then did you also lap the heatsink and try re-mounting using less and then may more paste to see which way the temps start going.

I didnt lapp heatsink no but also less thermal paste on this time as it was a bit watery
