Thermal paste

Hi Guys..
What is the best thermal paste to use these days, I used to use arctic silver 5 previously. Is there better ones out there now? Also I might have an old tube of unused arctic silver 5 laying somewhere which is probably at least 10 or so years old, would that still be good to use??

i believe Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is the current paste-du-jour, then up to Conductonaut liquid metal, which is the dog's, but needs care in its use.

Not sure about the 10 year old paste- if it's still fairly moist and pliable then I can't see why it wouldn't work. If it's dry or crumbly at all- or even getting that way- then for the sake of a few quid, I wouldn't bother.

Arctic silver overhype gunk hasn't been any top paste in a long long time in a galaxy far away, se zero sense to take any risks with its slight capacitive conductivity.

Another good one is ThermalRight TF8. It's very easy to use, very good, and you get plenty in the tube. It's non-conductive so not dangerous in the hands of a beginner and on the same level as the Kryonaut. Importantly, it lasts a very long time and will probably outlast your PC.

I've been using IC Diamond for last 10 years, best paste i've ever used and sticking with it.
