Thermal something for GPU

Hey all,

I think one of my 6870's is overheating. I opened the graphics card and discovered that the thermal pads (?) over this part of the graphics part had disintegrated.

What do I need to buy that will replace them? Would this work?

that link is just tape, as in paper thin I would imagine (no spec listed on the site), what you want is as you've said, a thermal pad, probably somewhere between 0.5 and 1mm thick which OCUK don't appear to sell

It certainly is andy, if anything, it's even thinner than paper, it's for heatsinks.

You can source thermal pads on the bay easy enough, cheap as chips too.
